Aditya Sharma, MD

My Inspiration

Growing up, I was frequently exposed to the medical field, and I often found myself reflecting on how things could be improved. My desire to make a meaningful difference both in healthcare and in the communities I called home led me to pursue a career in medicine. I was drawn to interventional cardiology because it allows me to care for patients over time while also addressing acute medical issues as they arise through procedural interventions. I have a special interest in procedures involving the coronary arteries and vascular system, as well as the management of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, hypertension and lipid disorders.

What I'm Passionate About

My passion lies in being a true partner in my patients' care—understanding their needs, respecting their wishes and guiding them with sound medical advice is essential. This approach allows me to build strong, trusting relationships with my patients as a team member in their care, which leads to them feeling empowered to make informed decisions and positive changes throughout their health journeys.

Off the Clock

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling and learning about different cultures. I’m an avid sports fan, whether playing or cheering for my favorite teams. Exploring new places and staying active are some of my favorite ways to unwind.
