My Inspiration
My path to foot and ankle surgery began with my own experience as a patient. Born with bilateral clubfoot, I underwent four reconstructive surgeries before the age of two. Thanks to a surgeon who saw possibilities where others saw limitations, I was able to enjoy an active childhood filled with sports and adventure. That experience inspired me to pursue advanced fellowship training in complex reconstructive and revisional foot and ankle surgery to help others regain mobility, independence and quality of life.
What I’m Passionate About
I am passionate about helping patients return to the activities that matter most to them, whether that means walking without pain, getting back to work, competing in sports or playing with their children or grandchildren. My clinical interests include foot and ankle trauma, pediatric and adult reconstruction, revision surgery, deformity correction, minimally invasive surgery and limb salvage. I treat both common foot and ankle problems and the most complex conditions with a personalized approach and a treatment plan tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
Off the Clock
Outside of work, my world revolves around my family. My wife and I recently had our first child and we love being her parents. We enjoy spending time outdoors relaxing and taking walks with our dog, Taco. I am a lifelong football fan and a proud supporter of the New York Jets. I also enjoy golfing and staying active.
My Commitment to You
My commitment to patient care is deeply personal. Having spent much of my life in foot and ankle clinics, I know what it's like to be the patient, physically and emotionally. I understand the uncertainty, challenges and hope that can come with recovery. Those experiences have shaped the way I care for my patients—with empathy, compassion and an appreciation that every patient's journey is unique. Healing is a partnership and building trust is the most important part. The best outcomes come when patients understand their diagnosis, feel comfortable asking questions and are confident in the treatment plan we develop together.
