Bayhealth Annual Nurse on the Run Seeking Community Sponsors

Bayhealth announces the 6th Annual Nurse on the Run 5K & 1-Mile Walk, an event dedicated to celebrating nurses while investing in the future of patient care throughout the community. The event will take place on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026, at Rail Haus, located at 92 N. West St. in Dover, Delaware, beginning at 9 a.m.

Organized by Bayhealth nurses in partnership with the Bayhealth Foundation, the annual event raises funds to support specialty certification opportunities for Bayhealth nurses. National research shows that certified nurses contribute to improved patient outcomes, enhanced patient safety and higher quality care.

Community businesses, organizations and individuals are invited to become event sponsors and help advance nursing excellence throughout central and southern Delaware. Email foundation@bayhealth.org for sponsorship information.
