Explore Nursing Innovation at Bayhealth’s 2026 Nursing Research & Evidence-Based Practice Conference

Anyone interested in healthcare research is invited to register for Bayhealth’s 2026 Nursing Research & Evidence-Based Practice Conference. The conference is on Friday, Nov.13 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Bayhealth’s Blue Hen Conference Center, 665 Bay Road, Unit A in Dover.

The conference will feature various research findings presentations, a poster breakout session and a keynote speaker address. In addition to being a unique learning and networking opportunity for all, the conference counts for 3.75 nursing contact hours. A virtual option will be provided for registered participants.

The keynote speaker is Danielle Altares Sarik, PhD, APRN, CPNP-PC, FAAN, a clinically-based nurse scientist with expertise in health services and outcomes research. She holds a PhD, MSN, and BSN from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA from Cornell University. She is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner in primary care and has cared for patients in China, Botswana and Nicaragua, in addition to the U.S. In her role as director of nursing research and evidence-based practice she leads strategic planning for scholarship, works closely with clinical nurses to conduct research and evidence-based practice projects, and develops innovative models of care for patients and families. She also serves as senior policy service professor at George Washington University School of Nursing and a senior fellow at the Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing.

The conference is free to all Bayhealth team members and nursing students. The fee for all other attendees is $40. Registration deadline is Nov. 6.
