About
My Inspiration
Some of my earliest memories are of walking hand in hand with my grandmother to her cardiology appointments. As a young child, still in my school uniform, I would sit beside her during echocardiograms and ECGs, observing the care, precision and compassion her cardiologist provided. Over time, he became a trusted figure in our family, someone whose guidance carried tremendous weight. The respect he earned from his patients and the community left a lasting impression on me and ultimately inspired my path to becoming a cardiologist.
What I’m Passionate About
I am deeply passionate about helping people take control of their heart health before problems arise. Preventive care, especially in cardiovascular disease, has the power to change lives, and I find it incredibly meaningful to guide patients in understanding their risks and making lasting, healthy changes.
I am especially committed to advancing awareness of heart disease in women, as it is often underrecognized and underdiagnosed. Through my clinical work and community outreach, I strive to educate, empower and advocate for earlier detection and better outcomes.
Off the Clock
Outside of medicine, I enjoy reading, writing and traveling, as well as spending meaningful time with my family and friends. These moments help me stay grounded and bring balance to my life, allowing me to return to patient care with renewed focus and compassion.
My Commitment to You
As a physician, I have the rare privilege of standing beside my patients during their most vulnerable moments. This responsibility is one I deeply value. My approach to care is centered on listening carefully, building trust and involving patients in shared decision-making.
I am committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based and personalized cardiovascular care. Every patient encounter is an opportunity to improve not only heart health, but overall quality of life. As Emily Dickinson beautifully said, “If I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain.” That philosophy guides my work every day.
