Bayhealth Welcomes Cardiologist Dr. Sana Hyder

Bayhealth is pleased to welcome Cardiologist Sana Hyder, MD, to the Bayhealth Heart & Vascular Institute.

Dr. Hyder cares for patients with a wide range of heart and blood vessel conditions. She is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care and takes the time to listen, answer questions and help patients understand their health. Known for her compassionate and patient-centered approach, Dr. Hyder works closely with each person to create a care plan that meets their unique needs.

Dr. Hyder is board certified in both internal medicine and cardiovascular disease and holds certification from the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. In 2026, she earned the distinguished title of Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC). She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Connecticut Health, followed by her cardiology fellowship at Hartford Hospital/University of Connecticut. Dr. Hyder earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Osmania Medical College in India.

Dr. Hyder is an active member of professional organizations including the American College of Cardiology and Women in Cardiology, reflecting her ongoing commitment to professional development and collaboration in advancing cardiovascular medicine.
